Community Engagement

The Huntley Fire Protection District serves a growing community, and the demands on emergency  services continue to grow with it.

The fire district is planning for these changes, but before decisions are made about what comes next, the community needs to understand what is happening and be part of the conversation. Whether you live in Huntley, the portions of Algonquin, Gilberts, Hampshire, Lake in the Hills, or Pingree Grove  served by the district, or unincorporated Kane or McHenry County, these  are the services you rely on and decisions that affect your community.

Our District, Our Community: A Partnership For A Safer Future is a community-led effort to involve everyone who lives in HFPD in the conversation to develop a long-range plan for fire and emergency medical services

Be part of the conversation at an upcoming workshop
